Technical Gear

The purpose of this course in to acquaint divers with the gear technical divers use. The student will receive training in the use of double tanks, dual regulators, redundant bladders, technical BC's and backplates and harness diving gear configuration. This gives the diver considering technical diving an opportunity to become proficient with the required equipment prior to beginning their technical training.

Duration: Three days

Water work: 4 dives. 2 w / Instructor, 2 student dives

Prerequisites: Open Water Diver

Course fee: $295.00

Certification:Yes. Akumal Dive Shop Diploma
