Admire this former Mayan trade site located on a cliff right on the beach front of the Mexican Caribbean.
The Tulum archaeological site faces directly into the sunrise and the 900-year-old fortress is surrounded by a massive wall on its 3 land sides. There were about 50 buildings inside the fortifications, many of which were dedicated to worship, while others were administrative buildings or dwellings.
Itinerary:
● 09:00 am – pick up in Akumal (bus stop on Akumal bridge)
● 09:45 am – we arrive in Tulum, 1 hour with a guided tour and 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time
● 12:00 pm – we board the bus and retum to Akumal
