We are home now. Returned to Seattle late last night around 9:00 PM PDT. Washington is very cold and wet at the moment. We are all wishing we were back on your beach....

Hello from England.

There are so many things that the Akumal Dive Shop do well, I just had to write to you to say thank you. As I was new to diving, I was a little nervous as I had only dived in a Quarry before and was unsure about the sea. The staff including Moses and Rambo were only too happy to give me some reassurance.

I also have to credit the knowledge that Moses and Rambo have of the sea. Particularly because, as I am only 12, I am limited to 12metres. Thankfully we very rarely crossed this barrier and at the same time, still seeing some fascinating creatures.

Another positive is, as soon as I had my first dive I was hooked. On my 5th dive Rambo appreciated the fact that I had already dived in some of the areas that they take you to. So he asked me where I'd been, and then took me somewhere else. Thank you.

P.S. I'm already training for a deep dive next year, Rambo!!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you and your shop for a great vacation. The divers in my party were very happy with your services. The Cenote dive I did was incredible. I really appreciate the laid back, friendly attitude of your employees. Special thanks to Divemaster Luis who I felt did a great job and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a good dive. Now I have a summer of diving in Lake Travis and wishing I was back in your neighborhood. I'll see ya'll next year if not sooner(if work allows).

Dear Dive Akumal:

Four of us chartered your 36’ Kolaris Catamaran last week and had an unforgettable time. It was the highlight of our vacation. Everything was so well organized. As soon as we arrived, Captain Luis and First Mate Gaspar were waiting for us with a cooler iced down and fishing tackle ready. We couldn’t believe it when they said they sailed almost every day because with their enthusiasm we thought it was a rare treat for them as well. While sailing, we caught beautiful Mahi Mahi and King Fish and Luis and Gaspar fried them up to perfection along with their wonderful ceviche, guacamole and fruit in the beautiful secluded cove. Luis and Gaspar were outgoing, witty and fun (not to mention great sailors). I commend you and your staff on a job well done and look forward to returning someday for another sail. Thank you for such a memorable excursion.
