It is a medically based course designed to train you with the necessary knowledge to provide a continuity of care to a patient if you are the first person on the scene of an accident (using the techniques of Primary Care) until the paramedics arrive and is finally taken to the physicians in the emergency room.
Emergency First Response covers Primary Care (CPR inclusive), Secondary Care and Treatments following national consensus guidelines. Emergency First Response course meets CPR certification requirements of all PADI upper-level courses.
Duration: 6 to 8 hours (1 or 2 days).
Prerequisites: Designed for anyone (meets all diving course requirements).
Course Fee: $175.00 USD. Tax not included (check for group rate).
Course Includes: All didactic materials needed, PADI EFR manual, daily locker, PADI fee, certification card EFR.
